Ashlar Lodge Masonic Temple

Much like the Eagles Hall Bldge around the corner, this building was purpose-built as a meeting lodge and commercial space. The pediment over the lodge entry is intricate and can be enjoyed today and its design was intended to suggest permanence and antiquity.

The position of the lodge entrance door to the eastern side of the building breaks from the traditional design, but allowed for an entrance into the commercial space.

Still used for lodge meetings this building occupies the same site of an earlier lodge that was built in 1873.
