Vancouver Island Farmers Markets
We love this time of the year when the local farmer`s markets open for the season. There is no doubt that buying local products provide a healthier lifestyle while going a long way to support local businesses.
Not only can you find fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables but many markets provide cheeses, baked goods, breakfasts and lunches. These community meeting places often have live music to serenade your visit.
There are farmer's markets all over the Island and the following list is by no means complete but we have had great experiences at each of those listed. If you have a favorite that is not here let us know and we will include it.
