The fact is you can find a Vancouver Island campsite to suite your every mood whether you want to spend time in a remote wilderness or close to amenities. No matter what your preference the result is the same, blissful relaxation.

Winter Harbour
The Outpost at Winter Harbour is at the end of the road, literally. It’s the perfect home base if you’re looking for a taste of the wild west coast. Sitting on the Northwest Coast it is a fishing, hiking and tour hotspot! Enjoy their full service marina, waterfront suites and as need be, RV and tent sites.

 

Gold River
Moutcha Bay Resort and Camping. Head west from Campbell River towards Tahsis and 43 km north of Gold River you will find their sign. A true adventure awaits in this remote part of the Island.
 

Port Hardy
The Quatse River Regional Park and Campground provides year round camping among old growth trees, exceptional fishing, hiking and the Quatse Hatchery,  a nonprofit Salmon Stewardship facility located next door. A portion of the revenue from the campground goes to operating costs for this program.

Campbell River
Brown’s Bay Resort and Ripple Rock is located north of Campbell River and provides oceanfront cabins and RV camping sites. A wonderful place to stay while you fish, play and explore. The property is well maintained and offers many amenities.

 

Salmon Point Resort is south of Campbell River. This year round waterfront resort offers several fully serviced sites for families and friends to come together. If you don’t want to cook just  wander over to their amazing pub and restaurant!
 

Pacific Playgrounds is a popular spot with RV sites, cottages and a full service marina. It’s located in Black Creek just south of Campbell River

 

Courtenay and the Comox Valley
Puntledge RV Campground sits along the Puntledge River’s crystal waters. Onsite you can learn about aboriginal culture and history at the Nim Nim Interpretive Centre.

 

Hornby Island
Bradsdadsland Campsite and Tribune Bay Campground offer great waterfront campsites. Accessible by BC Ferries out of Buckley Bay.

 

Qualicum Beach
Cedargrove RV Park & Campground is ideally located on the Little Qualicum River just minutes from area beaches and attractions.

 

Parksville
Rathtreavor Beach Provincial Park features a remarkable sandy beach that is close to everything, but worlds away!

 

Coombs
Coombs Country Campground and RV Park is close to several world famous attractions. The property includes a swimming pool and stocked trout pond making it a perfect family destination.
 

Tofino
Bella Pacifica Campground gives you a choice of old growth forest or beautiful sandy oceanfront. This is so popular you had best make reservations.

 

Mackenzie Beach Resort is located 2 km south of Tofino on a beautiful Pacific Ocean beach. Select from rustic cabins, ocean and forest camping or RV sites

 

Ucluelet
Surf Junction Camping and RV Park is a favorite surfers’ destination. The campground has 60 sites spread over 18 forested acres and full service 30 amp RV sites.

 

Bamfield
Pachena Bay Campground is owned and operated by the Huu-ay-aht First Nations. You can find this oceanfront campground 3 km south of Bamfield. This location is well worth the trek.
 

Port Renfrew
Pacheedaht Campground is located on the shores of a beautiful sandy beach close to Port Renfrew restaurants, pubs and convenience stores.
